Overview

About Plink

A pachinko roguelike where you build the machine: place a peg, aim, drop a ball, collect the gold, and draft Parts between boards.

Each turn, place one peg from your hand, then aim and drop a ball. The ball bounces through the pegs; every hit plinks up a rising scale and scores; gold pegs are collected. Collect every gold before your balls run out, catch the ball in the sliding cup to earn it back, and between boards draft a Part that changes how your balls and pegs behave. Physics is deterministic: the same shot into the same board always does the same thing.

Gameplay

How it plays

  1. Place one peg from your hand anywhere on the board.
  2. Drag to aim, release to drop the ball.
  3. Every peg hit scores and plinks up a rising scale; gold pegs are collected.
  4. Catch the ball in the sliding cup at the bottom to get it back.
  5. Collect all the gold before your balls run out, then draft a Part.

Depth

What makes runs different

  • Where a bumper goes decides whether the ball reaches the gold or the cup.
  • Parts interact with peg types and with each other; the machine you build is yours.
  • Boards escalate with clutter and hazards; best board and best single shot are the long goals.

FAQ

Is the bounce random?

No. Physics is deterministic: the same shot into the same board always does the same thing. Aim is the skill.

How do I get balls back?

Catch the ball in the sliding cup at the bottom of the board. A ball that rests still for too long is lost.

What ends a run?

Running out of balls with gold still on the board.

Where is my progress stored?

Progress, records, unlocks, the saved run and the sound/haptics settings are stored on the device only (UserDefaults and the app's own Application Support folder). Deleting the app deletes them. x3r0soft never receives them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I reset?

Settings → Reset progress clears records, unlocks and any saved run; sound and haptics settings are kept.
