Overview

About Perch

A block-stacking timing game: a crane swings a block over your tower, tap to drop it, and every miss makes the next block narrower.

A crane swings a block above your tower; tap to drop it. The part that overlaps the block below stays, the rest breaks off, so every miss makes the next block narrower, and a perfect drop snaps into place and, from the second in a row, grows the block back. The crane speeds up each stage, wind arrives, ice slides, gold pays triple. Hold anywhere to spend focus and slow the crane. Every fifteen floors is a stage with a relic to pick.

Gameplay

How it plays

  1. Tap to drop the swinging block.
  2. Overhang is trimmed off. A perfect drop keeps the block whole.
  3. Two perfects in a row and the block grows back toward full width.
  4. Hold anywhere to spend focus and slow the crane.
  5. Every fifteen floors is a stage: the crane quickens and you pick a relic.

Depth

What makes runs different

  • Spend focus on a gold block, a narrow block, or the wind?
  • Wind, ice and focus interact in the late game.
  • The tower itself is the record of the run.

FAQ

Common questions

What counts as a perfect drop?

A drop within a small window of the block below. The block keeps its full width, and from the second perfect in a row it grows back.

What is focus?

A small reserve that slows the crane while you hold anywhere on the screen. It refills at the start of each stage.

What ends a run?

A block that misses the tower entirely. Every trim makes the next block narrower, so misses add up.

Where is my progress stored?

Progress, records, unlocks, the saved run and the sound/haptics settings are stored on the device only (UserDefaults and the app's own Application Support folder). Deleting the app deletes them. x3r0soft never receives them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I reset?

Settings → Reset progress clears records, unlocks and any saved run; sound and haptics settings are kept.
